Texas & Arkansas
On a long haul across the west,
Rosie was hungry
and in need of rest.
Suddenly she saw, in Arkansas,
a chicken sitting in a nest.
Rosie headed for the bed of straw.
So tired she could barely walk,
she slipped and had a fall
and bumped her nose
on a little rock.
